Secure gateway for physical Internet and smart factory solutions

With this project, New Generation Sensors srl aims to develop a secure, by-design IoT gateway, engineered to ensure advanced data protection and operational continuity in industrial and logistics environments. The project stems from the need to overcome common vulnerabilities in IoT architectures, where the gateway represents a critical access and interconnection point between field sensors and the cloud. The project aims to achieve the following objectives:

Ensure data security through end-to-end encryption and secure communication protocols.
Protect against cyberattacks with multi-factor authentication and advanced access management.
Ensure secure software updates via secure boot firmware and encrypted OTA (Over-the-Air) update mechanisms.
Adopt a secure hardware architecture by using components that support advanced protection.
