NGS point of view regarding Smart Logistics
NGS has developed a complete solution for intermodal logistics able to track and monitor goods in a complete way. This is enabled by the integration of sensors and aggregation devices at different levels. The firts cornerstone of such a solution is the Smart Container, thus a container equipped with an IoT Node capable to collect added value information (i.e., temperature, humidity, light, acceleration), extract events (i.e., threshold exceedance, bumps, ...), and send it remotely in a geo&time referenced manner. The second cornerstone is the Smart Pallet, capable to interoperate with the Smart Container, and produce ad-hoc information regarding the goods consolidated on it (i.e., identification and specialised monitoring functionalities). In such a way all the logistics units can be tracked, traced and monitored enabling a complete and real-time visibility of the supply chain to alle the stakeholders involved in the process. This data are collected by a scalable remote Cloud Platform capable to ingest, process, visualise and share it throgh APIs.

Container tracking & transport
The Cloud Platform ingest, store and visualise the data. Our platform is based on a reactive framework that enable real-time data processing thus it provides added value metadata, semplifying the shipment understanding. It allows to configure a set of parametres to improve the monitoring functionalities, thus generating warnings. It enables an ad-hoc access to all the stakeholders involved in the shipment. A visualisation interface enables the real-time goods tracking and monitoring, while APIs allows the integration with other systems.
